 | Welcome!This website is a work in progress that will continue to evolve throughout the school year. The purpose is to provide more information to students and parents/guardian about my classes. As you journey through this webpage, you will find interesting links to different artists, movements, techniques, and big ideas throughout history that will help with class assignments. In the art classroom, we will open our minds to a variety of artists ranging from Traditional to Contemporary and how these artists have and still do affect the world we live in. It is my goal to create awareness in the classroom to different cultures, interdisciplinary content, and numerous job opportunities through the arts. I would like the classroom to be a place of strong teacher-student interaction, exchange of ideas, and expression. On this site you will also find artists discovered in class as well artists present IN class! Students' artwork will be posted on this page throughout the year so family and friends can see the amazing art work being created! I can't wait to have an awesome school year with each of you! |
