***Attention 6th Graders***
ART CLUB
All 6th graders are welcome to attend Art Club! Art Club will meet 10 times throughout the school year. For certain meetings, depending on the supplies needed, there may be a sign up sheet outside of my door (Room 158) with a limit of how many students may attend. Throughout the year we will be exploring the society we live in and how we can make a positive impact in our surroundings through art making.

10/25/12- First Art Club meeting last week was a huge success! The cafeteria was filled with 6th graders and we had a blast making our exquisite corpses. This was a great collaborative activity that got everyone involved and interacting with each other.
11/9/12- Second Art Club meeting: Introduction to Op Art
Students learned about the history of Op Art. We looked at a variety of images that, as one student stated, "messed with our miiinds". Students learned how to create their own Op Art piece and began to work on coloring. These pieces will go up in the Art Show at the end of the year!
