Artist :: Art Educator

      Education has always been a crucial part of my life due to my family values and experiences of living in Brazil after high school. Throughout my youth I realized that positive teachers open the minds of students and present them with the keys to the doors of life. This realization lead to my desire to be an educator, to have this same positive influence and be able to show students the world from an intriguing perspective.

      As a growing artist, I am constantly learning more about problem solving, the world around me, and even more about myself, which is what I seek for my students to experience as well. It is my goal to create lesson plans that include the steer of the educator, but more importantly teach students to be independent and intuitive. The art classroom is the place where students can make a difference in the world, make dreams come to life.
